So there I am! Living it up in my 30-somethings with a ridiculously hot hubby, 3 seriously outgoing matter-of-fact smart beautiful kids, a cat named Roxii that just won't quit, 2 chihuahuas named Lokii (what was I thinking) and Brodii who don't understand the concept of pee outside.

I'm a strongly opinionated, outspoken, inappropriate and absolutely unapologetic chick going through this thing called life and trying to do it with my sanity intact. So far, this isn't working out so well!

Keto Day 15

Holy hell. I made it to day 15!!!

I've been doing keto for 14 full days so far and I am down 7.8lbs. Results are varying all over the board when I'm looking to see if that is good, bad or otherwise and then I take a step back and realize, what the hell do I care for?!

I've cut bread, rice, sugar and almost all fruit from my plan and I really thought it was going to be SO hard. Guess what? SO not. What's the difference? I think because I'm replacing with good fats, good protein and good net carbs I'm just over it. I had a day of just wanting the goddamn fries and loading them with anything I could get my hands on, but ultimately it only lasted maybe a half hour.

Is it hard living with others not on this journey? No not really. What it has done is given me a better understanding of the garbage my kids eat. What am I doing about it? I'm starting to substitute out things from their current diet. They actually enjoy most of the things that I make so I think the ultimate transition will be a lot easier than I had anticipated.

I will say so far I am second most proud of my water intake. I have managed to get pretty close, if not over, 100-114oz of water a day. That is such a huge goal that I can safely say isn't so bad after a week to hit.
