So there I am! Living it up in my 30-somethings with a ridiculously hot hubby, 3 seriously outgoing matter-of-fact smart beautiful kids, a cat named Roxii that just won't quit, 2 chihuahuas named Lokii (what was I thinking) and Brodii who don't understand the concept of pee outside.

I'm a strongly opinionated, outspoken, inappropriate and absolutely unapologetic chick going through this thing called life and trying to do it with my sanity intact. So far, this isn't working out so well!

Follow me as I confession myself straight to the LCBO. My rants, my way...you've been warned ;) Xo

Keto Day 10

It is day 10...DAY 10!!!!!

This is a good number. This number represents over a week of not completely fucking up. I have been on plan daily, avoided the carb crave and sweet tooth for some candy on day 2 or 3 I think it was and haven't really had it since.

It's crazy to sit back and see how my husband and kids eat because 11 days ago, that was me. Not that it was incredibly horrible but if I calculated the amount of calories alone, forget checking the macros, it would legit be one of those mind blown moments.

I've also managed to drink more water. Yeah I'm adding Mio Sport in for the electrolytes but still, "I be drankin'".

What I do not feel with this new WOE (way of eating) is deprivation. I probably eat more things now that I thought were too high in fat than before. It was a natural thing to reach for the fluffy friendly, or so I thought, light products than to just have the full flavoured goodness that I'm allowed now.

I find myself in then kitchen more as well. The recipes for keto that I have found are SO simple, quick and easy to prepare that I dont mind being in my incredibly small piece of shit kitchen (joys of renting). Not only are my new ketozens (this is what my support Facebook group call ourselves -- it's the new "it" group, for real) posting incredibly recipes, tried and true, in the group but so many apps and Pinterest have all sorts of things. I even bought a cookbook but I've only been in it twice so far.

Anyhow at this point in down 6.3lbs as of this morning and I'm damn fine with that.

Keto on my friends!
